Access

Main entry to The Big Difference

There is a small, slightly raised doorstep to access the main entrance of the venue, which is wheelchair accessible. The main entrance of The Big Difference is on the first floor, which is used as the venue’s Bar Area. This is also the floor where our toilets are located. If you require assistance in moving around the Bar Area of the venue, for example the moving of chairs in our seating space, please let a member of staff know.

Entry to the Venue Performance Space

Our performance space is on the Basement floor of the venue, and is accessed down a flight of stairs. We do not have a lift at the venue, therefore our performance space is not wheelchair accessible. Our staff are more than happy to help upon request if you require assistance in getting up or down the stairs.

If you feel anxious in crowded situations, please speak to staff who can arrange for you to head down to the performance space before or after others have entered to allow you some space.

Entry to the Mezzanine Floor

Our Mezzanine is on the second floor of the venue, and is accessed up a flight of stairs. We do not have a lift at the venue, therefore our mezzanine space is not wheelchair accessible. Our staff are more than happy to help upon request if you require assistance in getting up or down the stairs.

Accessible Toilet

Our accessible toilet is located at the back of the Bar Floor and is signposted.

Guide & Assistance Dogs

Assistance and Guide Dogs are permitted in all parts of our venue.

Accessible Parking

There is no venue-specific or on street parking at The Big Difference. We suggest using one of the many nearby carparks, more details of which can be found on our Getting Here page.
