The Venue

The Big Difference is an independent music, comedy and arts venue and bar in the heart of Leicester City Centre. The venue showcases the best of the comedy and music circuit, as well as exciting new talent and local performers.

The Big Difference was opened in 2020 by registered charity Big Difference Company, who you may know as the driving force behind the annual Leicester Comedy Festival & The UK Kids’ Comedy Festival, and is managed by Big Difference Productions Ltd.

The Big Difference venue is also available for private hire , be it company events, meetings or private parties. It is fully licensed for alcohol and entertainment between the hours of 11am-midnight. The venue has a capacity of 250 people across 3 floors (Basement Venue/Bar Area/Mezzanine). Full audio visual facilities are available and can be managed by our team of technicians.
